Hand Forged Brass Saddle from the Civil War

Hand Forged brass saddle foot rest from the civil war. Saddle that looks like it was forged by a blacksmith in the South. Has rust on its surfaces as a result of weather exposure. Surface pitting on the brass is present. possesses a small one-sided tilt. But it's sturdy and in respectable condition for its age. Most likely an early pick-up.   An excellent Civil War treasure for any collection.
